OUR STORY
The story of my journey began with a little twist from the past.
So, let’s begin.
The aachars, chutneys and sauces are all former and traditional in nature which were passed down from my maternal side for generations. Though my maternal grandfather was a teacher by profession but his ‘PASSION’ for making different kinds of delicious sweets, kasundi, sauce, jam, jellys, aachar and chutneys from his home was very much appreciated by many during that time. From a very young age, my mother used to help my grandfather with his dishes and also became very expert in these culinary dishes. They used a “CLEAN PROTOCOL”, which means before entering kitchen they should thoroughly clean themselves with soap and water and change their clothes so that no microorganisms can enter their kitchen while at work. The fruits and vegetables were washed properly and the spices were also washed and kept in direct sunlight before grinding.
Different types of aachars has their unique type of spices. Since I also love to make these dishes from a very young age, my mother taught me all the dishes she knew. Still following the same protocols as before, we make these dishes with utmost care.
As these gourmet dishes are made from kitchen of our home, they are naturally very delicious and healthy. Now to conserve the process, we have implemented some modern methods also.
In recent times, these gourmets are rarely seen in the market. They are made in our homes and passed down from generation to generation.
So, my effort is to bring these traditional and healthy dishes to all so that each and everyone can taste and enjoy to the fullest.
